Eric is back on Broadway in the American premiere of Billy Elliot the musical at the Imperial Theater on 45th Street. With music by the legendary Elton John, Billy Elliot is based on the enormously popular film about a boy who discovers he has a special talent for dance, while the boys all around him are more interested in boxing. Set against the social and political turmoil of the coal miners' strike of 1984 the musical was an unprecedented smash in the West End, created by the film's director (Stephen Daldry), writer (Lee Hall) and choreographer (Peter Darling).

On December 17 & 18th, 2007, Eric performed in the
Gypsy of The Year
Competition at The New Amsterdam Theater on 42nd
Street.
Eric had the privilege of singing in the opening
number medley of West Side
Story featuring cast members from Broadway's
original 1957 company. It was an
unbelievable reunion with Chita Rivera (Anita),
Carol Lawrence (Maria),
Mickey Calin (Riff), Ken LeRoy (Bernardo), Eddie
Roll (Action) and Tony Mordente
(Arab) performing with current Broadway singers and
dancers.
The traditional “Help Is On The Way closer was
replaced with “Somewhere
sung by the original cast member Reri Grist, backed
up by Eric and the other
singers. It was an amazing experience.
Continually cited as possibly the season's most
dazzling talent show, this is
an annual event that features New York's "gypsies"
(chorus members from
Broadway and Off-Broadway shows) in a competitive
variety show at the culmination
of six weeks of fundraising for BC/EFA.

Eric enjoyed participating in the NYMF Festival where he starred as a nazi officer in the stage reading of WARSAW.
